This page shows the exact consent forms and disclosure language used by Conduit for Contractors
to collect SMS consent. Conduit collects consent at two points: (1) when contractors sign up
for the platform, and (2) when contractors add customer contact information.
1. Contractor Sign-Up Consent
When contractors create an account on Conduit, the sign-up form includes an optional SMS consent
checkbox. This consent covers transactional messages the platform sends directly to the contractor
(e.g., job assignment notifications, schedule alerts).
I agree to receive transactional/informational SMS communications
regarding account notifications, job updates, and service alerts from Conduit
for Contractors. Messages frequency may vary. Message and data rates may
apply. Reply STOP to opt out or HELP for help.
Create account
SMS consent checkbox is optional — not required to create an account.
2. Customer SMS Consent (In-App)
When a contractor adds a customer with a phone number, the customer creation form displays an SMS
consent checkbox with the full disclosure language. The contractor must check this box to confirm
that the customer has consented to receive SMS messages. This checkbox only appears when a phone
number is entered.

3. Exact Consent Disclosure Language
The following exact disclosure text is shown to users at the point of consent:
3.1 For Contractors (at sign-up)
"I agree to receive transactional/informational SMS communications
regarding account notifications, job updates, and service alerts from Conduit
for Contractors. Messages frequency may vary. Message and data rates may
apply. Reply STOP to opt out or HELP for help."
3.2 For Customers (when added by contractor)
"This customer consents to receive transactional/informational SMS messages

for Contractors. Messages frequency may vary. Message and data rates may apply.
Reply STOP to opt out or HELP for help.
Consent is not a condition of service."
4. How Consent Is Enforced
SMS consent checkboxes are optional — they are not required to create an account or add a customer.
If the SMS consent checkbox is not checked, no SMS messages will be sent to that phone number.
Contractors must attest that they have obtained consent from their customer before checking the consent box.
Consent status is tracked per-customer with a timestamp recording when consent was granted.
Customers can opt out at any time by replying STOP to any message. Opt-out is enforced platform-wide.
