Conduit on your phone

Use Conduit on a phone, add a home-screen shortcut and understand mobile sign-in and notifications.

Use Conduit in your phone’s browser with the same account and company permissions you use on desktop. For a hands-on demonstration, use the mobile navigation and create-menu lessons. These show the actual Conduit controls; your phone’s installation and permission dialogs belong to the operating system.

Add Conduit to your Home Screen

iPhone: open Conduit in Safari, use Share and choose Add to Home Screen. Enable Open as Web App when offered, then add the icon. Menu placement can vary by iOS version; Apple’s current instructions show the options.

Android: open Conduit in Chrome, open the browser menu and choose Install and create shortcut → Install when available. Follow the browser prompt. See Google’s web-app installation instructions.

The Home Screen version opens Conduit in its own window. It still uses your account and requires a connection to load and save work. Adding the icon does not create another company or grant additional permissions.

Sign in and open web tools from the mobile app

Sign in using your existing Conduit account. If you are joining a team, accept its invitation rather than creating an unrelated company. Account and access covers confirmation, invitations and password recovery.

When the native mobile app opens a Conduit web tool, it can carry your sign-in into the browser through a short-lived, single-use handoff. If that handoff expires or cannot be created, sign in on the web page or return to the app and reopen the tool. Do not copy or share a sign-in handoff link. Email confirmation, password-reset requirements and company restrictions still apply.

Mobile notifications

In the native mobile app, allow notifications when your phone asks if you want job and message alerts. If you declined, review Conduit’s notification permission in your phone’s Settings. Registration also needs a network connection and a supported physical device; a permission prompt alone is not proof that delivery is working.

The native app registers its device with Conduit for push delivery. This is separate from customer email and text preferences. Installing the browser Home Screen shortcut does not by itself establish the native app’s push connection.

What happens without a connection

The web version can retain static assets and show an offline notice, but it does not cache customer API records or queue record edits for later. Reconnect before loading or saving work. Do not assume a submission succeeded until the app shows confirmation. An offline page is not an offline copy of your business records.

Troubleshooting

If opening a tool asks you to sign in again, reopen it from the native app or sign in directly. If notifications stop, check phone permission, network connectivity and that you are signed in to the correct company. Report the device, affected action and observed result if the issue continues.
