The Leads Pipeline

The six pipeline stages

A lead moves through six stages as it develops:

  • New. Just came in. Nobody has reached out yet.
  • Contacted. You’ve made contact and are waiting to hear back or scheduling a look.
  • Qualified. The lead is a real fit: budget, timeline, and scope make sense.
  • Quoted. A bid or estimate is in front of them.
  • Won. They said yes. Convert the lead and the job moves forward.
  • Lost. They said no, went with someone else, or went quiet for good.

The Pipeline tab has two views. List shows every lead as rows you can sort by newest, last contacted, or value. Board shows the same leads as cards in columns, one column per stage: click a card to open it, drag it into the next column to move it forward, or use the filter box to narrow the board down to a name or company while you’re looking for one lead among many.

  1. Click Bethany Alvarez's card in the Qualified column to open it.
  2. Type "Bethany" into the filter box to narrow the board to matching leads.
  3. Drag Bethany Alvarez from Qualified to Quoted after the estimate goes out.
  4. Drag Bethany from Quoted to Won when the customer says yes.
