The top nav is organized by what you do day to day, in three groups separated by thin dividers: a primary group (Customers, Projects, Jobs, Invoices, Calendar, Recurring) for the records you create and edit constantly, an operations group (Timesheet, Messages, Pricebook, Vendors) for the workflow tools your team uses while jobs are in flight, and an analytics group (Analytics, Payments) for the numbers and the money plumbing. Every page has a single bookmarkable URL, no nested menus on desktop. On mobile the same items live behind a hamburger button.
