Completion Receipts

Give customers a clear record of finished work, including labor, materials, photos, and notes.

Updated Aug 28, 2026 · 2 min read · For Owner + Office + Field

A completion receipt gives the customer a clean record of what your crew finished. Create one from a completed job, check the details, and send it while the work is still fresh.

What the customer receives

The public receipt can show:

  • The work performed and completion date
  • Time entries and total labor hours
  • Materials used and material cost
  • Job and receipt photos
  • Completion notes
  • Your company name and contact information

When you start from a job, Conduit fills the completion date and work description from that job. Job photos are included automatically, and you can add receipt photos before or after saving.

Send the receipt

Open the receipt and choose Send Email, Send SMS, or Send All. The delivery history on the receipt records the notifications that were sent.

SMS is available only when the customer has a phone number, has consented to texts, and has not opted out. See Customer Text Messages for consent and template setup.

The customer opens a public link to review the receipt. They do not need a Conduit account.

Download and print

Choose Download PDF from the receipt detail. Open the downloaded PDF and use your browser or PDF viewer’s print command when the customer needs a paper copy.

If the work still needs to be billed, the receipt detail also has a Generate Invoice action.
