If your customer list already lives somewhere else (Housecall Pro, Jobber, ServiceTitan, QuickBooks, a spreadsheet, or a piece of paper), don’t retype it. An empty customer list puts the Import Customers button right in front of you, and the header carries one too. Both lead to Settings > Import Data, where the CSV/Excel mapping wizard and the photo-scan OCR tool live.
- Click Import Customers in the empty list to open Settings > Import Data.
- Bulk import (CSV, XLSX, XLS) runs through the mapping wizard; walk it in the data migration article.
- Photo-scan reads a picture of a handwritten list with OCR; also covered in the data migration article.
