Import a CSV or Excel file

For customers and price book items, a spreadsheet is the most reliable format.

  1. Select Customers.
  2. Use Start Over to switch to a different file or import type, any time before you finish.
  3. Select Customers again to pick up where you left off.
  4. Upload a CSV, XLSX, or XLS file.
  5. Match your columns to the right fields.
  6. Review the preview rows.
  7. Confirm the import.
  8. Review the results.
  9. Click Import More to start another import.

CSV/Excel import: upload a spreadsheet, review Conduit's suggested column mapping and correct it, preview the first rows, import, and see how many rows were created and skipped.

Customer fields include name, email, phone, address, city, state, ZIP code, company, customer type, notes, lead source, tags, and primary technician. Price list fields include name, description, unit, price, cost, category, and image URL. Run a small test batch before importing a large file.
