Account and Access

Sign in, sign up, reset a password, accept a team invite, recover from an inactive subscription, and the company management dashboard.

Every session with Conduit starts here, even before you’re inside the app: signing in, signing up, resetting a forgotten password, accepting a teammate’s invite, and recovering from a lapsed subscription. Every widget below is the real Conduit screen, driven by a simulated Sullivan Electric account so every control actually works.

  1. Type your email address.
  2. Type your password.
  3. Reveal or hide the password you typed.
  4. Click Sign in.
  5. See what a wrong email or password shows.

Sign In: email, password with a show/hide toggle, and an inline error banner for a wrong email or password.

Three wrong attempts locks the account for a few minutes as a brute-force guard; the error banner tells you when that happens. Signing in before confirming your email shows a different, amber warning instead, with a button to resend the confirmation link right there.

  1. See the unconfirmed-email warning.
  2. Resend the confirmation email.

Sign In, unconfirmed email: the same form, but signing in before confirming shows a resend option instead of a plain error.

  1. Type your full name.
  2. Type your email address.
  3. Type a password that meets every requirement.
  4. Accept the Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.
  5. Click Create account.
  6. Resend the confirmation email if it doesn't show up.
  7. See the check-your-email screen.
  8. See what the confirmation link lands on.

Sign Up: name, email, password with a live requirements checklist, a required Terms checkbox, an optional SMS consent checkbox, and the confirmation hand-off.

New accounts get a 30-day free trial with every feature unlocked, no credit card required. An account reached through a team invite skips straight to joining that company instead of starting a trial; see Team Invite below.

Reset a forgotten password

  1. Type the email on your account.
  2. Click Send reset instructions.
  3. See the check-your-email confirmation.
  4. Type a new password.
  5. Confirm the new password.
  6. Click Reset password.
  7. See the success screen and automatic sign-in.
  8. See the confirmation-link handler that also finishes email verification.

Forgot Password, Reset Password, and Confirm Email: request a reset link, set a new password, and land back in Conduit signed in automatically.

Conduit never confirms or denies whether an email address has an account; the “check your email” message is identical either way, so the reset flow can’t be used to find out who’s a customer.

Accept a team invite

An owner or admin invites teammates from the Team page; the invite email links to this page. What it shows depends on whether you’re already signed in, and if so, as who.

  1. Accept the invite while signed in as the invited person.
  2. See the welcome screen after accepting.

Team Invite, signed in: company name, role, and an Accept & Join Team button.

Signed in as someone else, Conduit says so rather than silently accepting on the wrong account:

  1. See the wrong-account message.
  2. Sign out and continue with the invite.

Team Invite, wrong account: names the email the invite was actually sent to, with a Sign out and continue option.

Not signed in at all, you choose whether to sign in or create a new account; either link carries the invite token along so it’s still waiting after you do.

  1. Sign in to accept the invite.
  2. Create an account to accept the invite.

Team Invite, not signed in: Sign in and Create account, side by side.

When a subscription lapses

If a company’s subscription expires, everyone is locked out of the app except billing and settings, but what they see differs by role.

  1. See what a team member without billing access sees.
  2. Sign out.

Subscription Inactive: a plain message that the subscription lapsed, with a note to ask an admin, and a Sign out button.

An owner or admin sees the plan picker directly instead, so they can fix it themselves without leaving the lockout screen:

  1. Choose a plan tier.
  2. Optionally enter a referral code.
  3. Continue to payment.
  4. Subscribe with the simulated card form.

Choose Your Plan: five tiers with pricing and seat limits, an optional referral code that gives both companies a free month, and Stripe Elements for payment (simulated here, never loaded for real).

Company management

Owners and admins with full configure access reach a company-wide dashboard, separate from any single settings page.

  1. Read the stat cards.
  2. Jump to a common task from Quick Actions.
  3. Read the company info card.
  4. Read Recent Activity.
  5. Read the permission change log.

Company Management: team, active job, open invoice, and revenue stat cards; Quick Actions; a company info card; a recent activity feed; and, for anyone who can manage the team, a log of every role and permission change.

This dashboard does not switch between companies; a Conduit login belongs to one company, and a sub-contractor’s mirror projects for a general contractor stay inside that same login, not a separate one to switch to. See Team & Permissions for roster management, and Projects for how mirror projects work across companies.
