Branding Your Bids

Add your company logo and a mission statement so they appear on the bid PDF, the public bid link your customer opens, invoices, and the customer payment portal.

Updated May 6, 2026 · 5 min read · For Owner

Your logo and mission statement live on the company profile, not on each individual bid. Set them once and they appear everywhere your customer interacts with your business: the bid PDF, the public bid link, every invoice, and the payment portal.

01Open Settings

From the dashboard, click your avatar in the top-right corner. In the dropdown that appears, choose Settings.

  1. Avatar. Your initial in an orange circle, top-right of every page.
  2. Settings. Second item in the dropdown, below Profile. Goes straight to the Company Profile tab.

The avatar dropdown is the gateway to Profile, Settings, Team, Company Management, and the theme toggle.

The first card on the Company Profile tab is Company Logo.

  1. Logo preview. A square thumbnail of your current logo. The small red X removes it.
  2. Change Logo. Picks a new file. The label switches between Upload Logo and Change Logo depending on whether you have one set.
  3. File rules. PNG, JPG, or SVG. Max 5MB. Square works best.

The Company Logo card sits at the top of the Company Profile tab. The preview updates immediately on upload.

The logo now appears on:

  • The bid PDF your customer downloads or you email them.
  • The public bid view, which is the link customers click to accept or decline.
  • Every invoice PDF and customer-facing invoice page.
  • The customer payment portal.

03Write your mission statement

Scroll past Business Information to the Mission Statement card (it sits between Business Information and Address). This field is optional, capped at 500 characters, and free-form.

  1. Mission Statement. Card heading.
  2. Helper text. Reminds you where it appears.
  3. Textarea. Type one or two sentences. Press Tab to leave the field, then click Save Changes at the bottom of the page.
  4. Character counter. Live count of how close you are to the 500-character limit.

One or two sentences is the sweet spot. Examples: 'Quality electrical work, on time and on budget' or 'Family-owned plumbing serving the Front Range since 1998.'

04See it on the customer-facing bid

Once saved, the next bid you send (or any unsent bid) picks up the change automatically. There are two surfaces where customers see it.

Public bid view

This is the customer-facing link, the URL Conduit generates when you click Send to Customer.

  1. Logo. Top-left of the header strip.
  2. Company name and trade. Right of the logo.
  3. Mission statement. Italic line directly under the header, before the bid details.

What your customer sees when they open the bid link. Logo, name, trade, then mission in italic under the header.

Bid PDF

This is the file your customer downloads or that you email as an attachment.

  1. Logo. Top-left of page 1.
  2. Company name. Below the logo, in your accent style.
  3. Address + contact line. A single grey line beneath the name.
  4. Mission statement. Italic line below the contact info, just before the horizontal rule that opens the bid details.

What if I don’t see it?

  • Logo missing on the PDF but shows on the web view. Make sure the file is a PNG or JPG. Animated GIFs and WebP are accepted by the upload but don’t always embed cleanly in PDFs. Re-upload as PNG or JPG to be safe.
  • Mission statement empty on the bid. The field is optional, so leaving it blank hides it everywhere, which is intentional. To turn it off, just clear the field and save.
  • I uploaded a new logo but the old one still shows. Hard-refresh your browser (Cmd+Shift+R or Ctrl+Shift+R). Logos cache aggressively in browsers.
  • [[Creating a Bid]] for the full bid workflow.
  • [[Company Setup getting-started/company-setup]] for the rest of the company profile.
