After the customer accepts, choose the bid sections you are ready to perform and convert those parts to a job. You do not have to release the whole project at once. Create Job then asks you to confirm the schedule: pick a day and start time (a proposed day on the bid is filled in), or choose Schedule later to create the job unscheduled. The new job keeps its connection to the original bid and section values, which prevents later invoices from drifting away from the approved scope.
- Select every available line in the Rough-in section.
- Select one Finish line item individually.
- Enter a partial dollar allocation for a selected line.
- Use the percent-of-remaining quick fill.
- Compare billed-to-date, remaining, this job total, and remaining after.
- Review the estimated retention withheld.
- Click Create Job, then on Confirm schedule pick a day and start time, or choose Schedule later.
