Click Add Customer and the form opens with essentials first; address, lead source, tags, and notes hide under the More details toggle at the bottom. Fill the demo form below all the way through saving.
- Type the customer's name.
- Type a phone number and watch it auto-format.
- Type an email address.
- Choose a Customer Type: Residential, Commercial, or Property Manager.
- With a phone entered, check the SMS consent box that appears.
- Toggle the master notifications switch off, then back on.
- Click Create Customer to save.
Add Customer form (interactive when scripts run): name, phone, email, customer type, SMS consent, and the notifications toggle, with a Create Customer button.
Two details worth knowing:
- SMS consent only appears once a phone number is entered, and it links to the public policy page at /sms-consent. You must have the customer’s actual consent before checking it.
- The notifications toggle is a master switch: when off, the customer gets no automated SMS or email (invoice sent, reminders, job status). Expand “Customize which notifications to send” to disable individual notification types instead.
After a real save, Conduit asks What next? with two buttons: add a project, or schedule a job. For your first run-through, schedule a job and continue your fundamental loop.
