Building Your Pricebook

Browse and filter your pricebook

Open Pricebook in the top nav. The list is grouped by category, with search at the top, a category chip strip and an Item type filter below it, and the orange + Add Item button on the right for anyone with configuration permission. Each row shows the item’s type, its Non-taxable label when it isn’t taxed, and, for a configuring role, Cost and Markup next to Price. The Reference Files section at the bottom of the page holds any supplier catalogs or spec sheets you have uploaded.

  1. Use the search box to filter the list by name, description, or category.
  2. Click a category chip to narrow the list to that category.
  3. Click Material or Service to filter the list by item type.
  4. Notice the Cost and Markup columns next to Price; a missing cost shows a dash instead of a number.
  5. Notice the Non-taxable label on an item you don't charge sales tax on.
  6. Already have a price list in a spreadsheet? Notice the link out to the CSV import walkthrough instead of retyping every row.

Sample pricebook (interactive when scripts run): a Sullivan Electric style catalog across Electrical, Panels, Materials, EV Chargers, Lighting, Safety, and Labor, with search, category chips, an Item type filter, and Cost/Markup/Price columns.
